Join your fellow CSCS athletes on Sunday, May 3 at 10 a.m. Building Your Performance Lunchbox, an online workshop facilitated by sport dietitian Heather Hynes.
We will discuss the importance of the midday meal; whether you train in the morning or later in the afternoon. The Lunch meal may act as your recovery meal or your PM training prep meal. We will review the necessary equipment that every high-performance athlete should have to ensure an optimal lunch at home or packed for on the go. We will discuss the key macronutrients that should be available at lunch and build out different examples. If you are working towards a gain of strength, speed or power we will plan out how to ensure that your lunch meal is energy dense and offers optimal variety to help you achieve your performance goals. All participants will have an opportunity to ask questions throughout the session.
