Dash, Wright 2026 Saskatchewan Wheelchair Curling Champions
Fresh off winning a Paralympic gold medal in Italy, Kipling skip, Gil Dash joined Marie Wright of Moose Jaw and Moose Gibson on the sheet for the 2026 Saskatchewan Wheelchair Curling Championships, which took place in Moose Jaw.
The trio defeated Team Andrews from Saskatoon in a best of three series and secured their spot to represent Saskatchewan at the 2026 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship from April 27-May 2 in Boucherville, Quebec.
Sask. pair wraps time at Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship
The 2026 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship wrapped with Martensville’s Rylan Kleiter and Nancy Martin finishing third in Pool C standings.
The pair went 4-2 in round robin play and secured their place in playoffs, before their time concluded after a 10-2 loss against Team Gray-Withers/Pietrangelo.
Senft to join Team Canada for Pacific Four Series
Rugby Canada named Regina’s Gabrielle Senft to help represent the nation for the Pacific Four Series, which will take place April 11, 17 and 24, in three different cities across the United States, including Sacramento, Kansas City and Chicago.
This is the Canadian Women’s Rugby Team’s first time back on the field since the 2025 Rugby World Cup. They are set to play Australia, New Zealand and the US.
