Shaw to represent Canada at 2024 Para-Track World Championships  

Keely Shaw of Midale, with Team Canada will compete at the 2024 UCI Para-Track World Championships from March 20-24 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

Shaw will compete in the women’s C4 category.  

Ramsay to represent Canada at Pan American Championships  

Danielle Ramsay, who hails from Saskatoon, will join Canada’s racquetball team for the Pan Am Championships from March 22-30 in Guatemala City. 

The championship will mark the commencement of Canada’s international competition circuit as they work their way toward improving their performance for the Lima 2027 Pan American Games.

Seven Saskatchewan curlers at Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 

Saskatoon’s Christie Gamble, Madison Kleiter, Rylan Kleiter, and Dustin Kalthoff were joined by Martensville’s Steve Laycock and Nancy Martin, as well as Humbolt’s Kirk Muyres at the 2024 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. 

Muyres, who teamed up with Edmonton’s Laura Walker, have a 4-0 score and are first in Pool A. The pair will compete later today against Team St-Georges and Asselin. 

Christie and Rylan Kleiter are fourth in Pool A after going 3-1 in their previous games and will compete against Team Kelly and Tardy next. 

Set to go against Team Cheal later today, Laycock and Martin are fourth in Pool B going 2-2 in their previous games. 

Team Saskatchewan, Christie Gamble and Dustin Kalthoff, have a 2-3 score and are fifth in Pool C standings.
