Zablocki and Canada claim bronze at IIHF U18 Women’s World Championships
Prince Albert’s Stryker Zablocki came home with a medal after Canada claimed bronze at the Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship in Switzerland.
In quarterfinals, Canada defeated Switzerland 6-0 before a 4-2 loss to Czechia. In the bronze medal game against Finland, Team Canada won 8-1 with Zablocki assisting in one of the goals.

Four Saskatchewan figure skaters attended Canadian National Skating Championships
Four Regina figure skaters concluded their time at the 2024 Canadian National Skating Championships on January 14, in Calgary.
Pair, Caidence Derenisky and Raine Eberl finished in seventh with 132.53 points and were followed by Ashlyn Schmitz and Tristan Taylor, who finished in ninth place with 120.60 points.
Saskatchewan Sport Awards Recipients and Finalists Announced
Eleven Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan registered athletes and high-performance coach, Ryan Jones were announced as recipients and finalists for the 2023 Saskatchewan Sport Awards.
