Canada has fallen in the medal rankings, sitting in ninth with 26 medals, four of which are gold.
Nik Goncin and Garrett Ostepchuk, Men’s Wheelchair Basketball
The Regina duo helped Team Canada reach success in Wednesday’s quarterfinals.
Canada defeated Puerto Rico 88-31, with Goncin leading the team with 21 points and Ostepchuk adding seven.
Friday morning, Team Canada will compete in semifinals against Colombia.
Wyatt Lightfoot, Para Badminton – SH6 Individual
Lightfoot competed Thursday morning in the men’s singles SH6, dominating 2-0 (21-5, 21-7) against Chile’s Pablo Manuel Coloma Puga.
Myriam Soliman, Para Swimming
Wednesday afternoon, Soliman swam in the mixed 4×100 metre medley relay and finished in sixth with a 5:38.28 time.
She will compete in her final race of the Games, Friday morning.
Keely Shaw, Para Cycling
On Thursday, Shaw placed seventh in the women’s C1-5 500 metre individual time trial final with a 40.179 time.
She will race again Friday afternoon.
