SASKATOON (FEBRUARY 28, 2023) – Effective immediately, Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan (CSCS) has signed on to the agreement for Abuse-Free Sport, which applies to staff and contractors working on behalf of CSCS with CSCS registered athletes and serves as an independent program aimed to prevent and address maltreatment in sport.

CSCS has completed the full adoption of the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS) and updated all required policies.

Also available in Saskatchewan is the Sask Sport Resource Line, a confidential and anonymous resource that operates 365 days a year and provides information, bilingual services and referrals for sport in Saskatchewan regarding possible bullying, abuse, harassment, discrimination or hazing.
