Public Speaking Training
November 7 & 8, 2009 - 2205 Victoria Avenue, Regina
In partnership with Sport Canada the Esteem Team, a program of Motivate Canada, is in search of National Team Athletes that are interested in receiving complimentary training on Public Speaking, specifically to a youth audience. Those athletes that complete the 2-day course will then qualify to join the Esteem Team Roster of athletes and receive honorariums for conducting the Esteem Team presentations at schools in your home community. >> more NEWS

Sport Nutrition Tip: Nutrition - Travel and Restaurants
Athletes are frequently required to travel away from home to competitions and training camps. Both the journey and living in a new environment can make it challenging to maintain a high performance diet essential for optimal sport performances. This Sport Nutrition Tip will assist coaches and athletes in identifying the nutrition pitfalls of eating at hotels and restaurants and how to plan accordingly. >> more NEWS

Visiting Athletes
The Canadian Sport Centres want to make it easier for carded athletes who travel nationally and need to access services at different CSCs. The Visiting Centre will provide some level of services to Visiting Athletes. This level of services might vary in each CSC since they operate differently to provide access to services. Athletes should notify their Home Centre in advance of any distant servicing needs. Upon arrival in Saskatchewan, and to get registered for the duration of your visit here please contact: Michelle Dezell, Manager of Athlete Services at (306) 975-0861.
