Meaghan Simister of Regina and Alex Gough of Calgary finished tied for 15th spot at a World Cup luge competition in Sigulda, Latvia on Saturday.

Lesa Mayes-Stringer, a native of North Battleford now competing for France, finished third in a Europa Cup women's bobsleigh race Sunday.

On the final day of competition at the 4th Down Syndrome International Swimming Organisation (DSISO) World Swimming Championships in Albufeira Portugal, sixteen year old Regina Optimist Dolphin swimmer, Michael Qing won another 2 more gold medals and set 2 more World records bringing the total to 7.

12 Provincial Records and Bronze Medal for Sask swimmers at Canada Cup
Eleven Saskatchewan swimmers competed at the Canada Cup meet in Toronto this past weekend and a total of 12 provincial records were broken and one bronze medal was won. Provincial records were broken by Goldfin swimmers Kendra Chernoff, Brittney Harley, Drew Matthews and Brit Robson and by Regina Optimist Dolphin swimmer Sam Acton.
