Stefanie Lawton Sport: Curling
Stefanie has been a skip in the women's and junior curling circuit for 14 very successful years, winning a total of eight provincial championships, a junior national championship and placing 4th at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in both 2005 and 2009. She also competed in two Olympic Trials with her team and place 3rd and 4th respectively. Stefanie was voted 1st team all-star skip at the Scotties in 2009. Stefanie is a willing a personable public speaker, encouraging others in the community to follow their dreams and she has recently been nominated for the YWCA Women of Distincition Award in Athletics. Stefanie is an Inventory Specialist with Cameco Corporation. Links
