Saskatchewan's Fast and Female Champ Chat was presented by Sask Sport, the Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan, and the City of Saskatoon.
Sunday, September 9th, was a day of empowerment for young females aged 8 - 18 and it was all done through sports and amazing female role models!
Socializing in a non-competitive environment, the day started at the SaskTel Sports Centre in Saskatoon with fun ice-breaker group activities, and then onto trying out four different sport activities throughout the day - Lacrosse, Sledge Hockey, Self-Defense and agility.
All participants enjoyed a nutritional lunchbreak while hanging-out and chatting with the Saskatchewan Fast and Female Ambassadors, followed by a group inspirational Champ Chat from the female role models along with time for some important questions and answers from the crowd!
The day ended with autographs, smiles, some new friendships, a good tired feeling from lots of physical activities and even some talk of signing up for a new sport they had tried!
Huge thank you to our Saskatchewan Fast and Female Ambassadors:
