Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games

The Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games, scheduled for Oct. 3-14, 2010, will be the world’s largest multi-sport competition this year, drawing more than 4,000 athletes from 71 nations and territories. It will be the first time India will host the Games.

Canada’s team includes 250 of the country's top summer sport athletes, determined to produce best-ever performances and surpass the 86 medals that Canadians earned at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

• Anderson Loran, Men’s Artistic Gymnastics - Saskatoon, SK

Wrestling

• Jillian Gallays, 55 kg Freestyle Women - Saskatoon, SK

Shooting

• Richard McBride, Men’s Skeet - Saskatoon, SK
  Canadian Champion in international skeet in 2003 and 2005, Member of the 2007 Pan American Games Team

Lawn Bowls

• Harriette Pituley, 52, (Regina, SK). 1997 Canadian gold medalist in Pairs and was a member of the National Team at the 2007 Asia Pacific Championships and the 2009 Atlantic Championships.

• Rachel Larson, 53, (Saskatoon, SK). 2009 Canadian Pairs silver medalist.

• Keith Roney, 62, (Regina, SK). Member of Bowls Canada’s National Team for 23 years. Former Pairs World Champion (2004) with Ryan Bester.
